MY BABIES HAVE NO LEGS.

I
have two snakes (three, if you count my tattoo)
They
are the best roommates I have ever had....for three reasons:
1. They don't complain
about the tv or stero (They have no ears)
2.
They never nab the last piece of cheescake (and I never eat the
last mouse)
3. They never leave the toilet
seat down.
ELVIS (the king)snake
Here is me with Elvis, about 1993
Elvis is an albino kingsnake. I got him in September
of 1992
and was told that he was about 2
years old at that time.
They live approx
15-20 years.
He was about 3 feet 3 inches
long then, but he now stretches out
to almost
five feet! That's probably because he is such a pig....
he's always willing to eat! He even tried to eat
my friend, Eric once!

Before all you rat lovers
out there get upset...please note that my snakes eat only dead
rodents.
I buy them already
dead at the East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley, and my snakes gobble
'em right
up. I didn't really
want to see a mouse get strangled either, so I made sure they
were accustomed
to eating ONLY
"living impaired food" when I bought them.
Julius Squeezer
ME "MAKING OUT'" WITH MY SNAKE
Julius Squeezer is my beautiful
Brazilian Rainbow Boa.
I got him in January
of 1993 when he was about 6 months old.
At
the time, he fit into my shirt pocket and was only about
26 inches in length and about as big around as
my thumb...
but today he is probably close
to 6 feet long!
He
has a brilliant irridescence that is really quite striking in
sunlight (no pun intended)...
although
he is nocturnal and rarely ventures into the bright light on
his own.
